Canberra excursion

Year 6 has just arrived from the 3 day excursion in Canberra. We have seen new and old parliament house, Questacon and the national museum.

Protecting native fauna in remnant bushlands

There are many pockets of native bushland throughout the Woollahra Council municipality. These pockets are home to a wide range of native fauna and I often see dogs and cats roaming these unprotected parks. I would like to raise the public's awareness of the wildlife in these pockets by asking council to fund our school to create sculptures of native animals to be placed in these pocket parks. ( This would raise people's awareness and be a lot more pleasing than another sign!)
